The Operator Type 90 is currently the premier model in the SUPER series. It features a monobloc construction and, like all devices in this series, utilizes the sector gear rack system. Its rotation in the standard version is 90° plus adjustments, but it can be extended to 180°. At low pressure, this type has a single cylinder with a diameter of 100 mm, allowing for a torque of 12 m kg at 6 bar. The drive and mounting are located at the lower part of the device. The manual key operation and position indicator are at the upper part. It can be optionally equipped with a watertight or explosion-proof signaling box, as well as remote control.
There are several models of this type of operator. Each of these is defined by a symbol consisting of four numbers.
For example :
This operator consists of a sealed housing containing the mechanism (sector gear rack, rack stop, bushings). The valve is adapted to the housing via a flange. Two mechanical stops allow for the adjustment of the angular stroke. The drive shaft is made of stainless steel. The assembly can be equipped with a spring box to perform operations in the absence of driving fluid.
Housing: Made of cast steel or steel, depending on the application.
Cylinder: Made of cast steel for low pressures.
The Operator Type 90 can be supplied, on request, with control or feedback accessories. The minimum passage section for these accessories must be 6 mm. Electrical or pneumatic signaling contacts are also available on request (see Type 464 manual).
High-Pressure Version
By adapting special cylinders, the Operator Type 90 can use all gaseous or hydraulic fluids up to a pressure of 120 bar (ask for a specific plan or manual).
Note : like all other types in the SUPER series, the Type 90 can be submerged after special protection and modifications.
